Pete began his professional career working for Dr. George Gallup
in his advertising and market research firm in Princeton, NJ as
a research associate.
He was hired by Mattel Inc. and relocated to Los Angeles. With
young children, he was the hero of his family bringing home a
continual parade of Hot Wheels cars and Barbie dolls. While at
Mattel as the Director of Marketing Research, he was responsible
for evaluating and helping to market a diverse line of product
for a rapidly growing multi million-dollar international toy company.
He later entered the advertising world and became a Senior Vice
President for Saatchi and Saatchi, when it was the world’s
largest advertising agency. He initially worked on the newly acquired
Toyota account, and later won and managed the Bridgestone Tire
and Yamaha Motor Sports accounts, among others.
Pete met Sandy Fox while working for Miles Copeland, one of Sandy’s
clients. Pete had various responsibilities in the music business
for Miles and in true entrepreneurial spirit created the world’s
first CD vending machine.
In 2003, Pete started working with Sandy in the food business
and re-introduced Jeff Foxworthy’s bar-b-que sauces to the
United States. Then he and Sandy developed a licensing business
as a service for several clients. Today he is the Director of
Licensing for the Fox Law Group and now guides the licensing programs
for a half dozen clients in categories as diverse as food, toys,
novelties and apparel.
Pete and his wife of 45 years live in Manhattan Beach, California.
Their four grown children are widely scattered across the U.S.
And their five grandchildren are all Mattel consumers. His hobbies
include movie going, tennis and with no surviving pets, they are
free to travel.
