| The fact that smoking is bad for you has been common knowledge since at least the 1600's, regardless of tobacco marketing (which is Federally regulated- interestingly enough, by the FDA as of earlier this year). King James I said it was, "a custom loathsome to the eye, hateful to the nose, harmful to the brain, dangerous to the lungs, and in the black, stinking fume thereof, nearest resembling the horrible Stygian smoke of the pit that is bottomless." Even at a time were people were bled to death to cure a flu, people somehow realized that burning some ***** and breathing in the smoke constantly is probably not great for you. "Smoker's cough" has been recognized for centuries. Did some people think it was a healthy kind of hacking and coughing? Maybe that black ***** you spit up every morning was just cleansing the body of demons?Look, what this lady's going through is pretty ***** to say the least, but what about the Government that allowed tobacco marketing? You think the Surgeon General thought smoking was good up until the 70's? Advertising companies have been and will be dishonest as long as time exists. Don't base your life decisions on a 30-second promotional spot. If we can just sue companies because what they show isn't how your life works out, Axe Body Spray owes me $300M, plus another $20M for carpal tunnel. |

What about Tombi (Tomba), that was an awesome game, I would always play it at my friend's house. I wanted to get a copy recently but it is £50 on ebay, for a PS1 game!
The inevitable problem here becomes... why ever wake up? Put me in a pod and make me a rock-star and use my heat to power the computer overlords who rule under the blackened sky... as long as the steak is tasty and the Italian leather in my spyder is soft...

“I bid $50! Take it or leave it. Do they really believe anyone would think it's a good idea to buy a company 4 Billion in debt? I think my offer is competitive. I'll fire hundreds of thousands of people, say ***** off to MPAA, and release all the movies we produce simultaneously in theaters and as downloadable video, in multiple open formats without DRM, for $6 a pop.

I don't know if you're aware, but most people wear a sock on each foot.

Hi. This is Wilford Brimley. Welcome to Retardation: A Celebration. Now, hopefully with this book, I'm gonna dispel a few myths, a few rumors. First off, the retarded don't rule the night. They don't rule it. Nobody does. And they don't run in packs. And while they may not be as strong as apes, don't lock eyes with 'em, don't do it. Puts 'em on edge. They might go into berzerker mode; come at you like a whirling dervish, all fists and elbows. You might be screaming "No, no, no" and all they hear is "Who wants cake?" Let me tell you something: They all do. They all want cake. |
