HOLY *****! Something accurate from the MPAA?!?!?!"Copyright Treaty Critics Hate Hollywood"Anyone who DOESN'T hate what "Hollywood" has become is most likely bought and paid for..
According to Reuters: “A U.S. senator has asked Microsoft Corp about its plans to slash up to 5,000 jobs, urging the world’s biggest software company to preserve the jobs of Americans ahead of foreigners working on visas.”“The letter asked Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer to provide a breakdown of the jobs to be eliminated, and how many of those are individuals with H-1B visas and how many are Americans. Grassley also wants to know what the breakdown will be when the layoffs are complete.”“I am concerned that Microsoft will be retaining foreign guest workers rather than similarly qualified American employees when it implements its layoff plan [...] Microsoft has a moral obligation to protect these American workers by putting them first during these difficult economic times”, said Sen. Charles Grassley, an Iowa Republican!

The health care will not be free. Every citizen will be required to have and pay for coverage. read it: http://rpc.senate.gov/public/_files/ReidBill.pdf?
I just tried walking outside with my laptop screaming "IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT? HUH? PIE MAN? IS IT!?"It did not yield any results. |

"The BBC, on the other hand, could be supported by advertising and still exist."Yes, but they wouldn't be able to do anything that makes the BBC what it is. No BBC Four, no Radio 3, no (most of) Radio 4, no Proms, not much in the way of documentaries, much reduced regional news, no local radio, the list goes on.We have several large commercial broadcasters and none of them can touch the BBC in terms of depth of programming available. IMO Channel 4 (the other state owned broadcaster for those who didn't know, but is a commercial operation) is superior to the likes of ITV and Ch5, but nowhere near the BBC.
