I digitally sign all my work emails now; and at least some of my co-workers understand that if they get a non-signed email "from me" it's probably not from me. And I don't understand why banks, brokerages, and any other business that use email don't use digitally signed emails. Then spam filters should be able to warn you easily by flagging anything not signed as likely spam. They use HTTPS on their web sites -- why not do similar for email (and I with the bank's emailed statements were encrypted too, but that's getting off topic).
Except the fix revolves around flushing the key ring from the banned box and ripping the CPU key from an unbanned box and patching that back into the banned box. From the way they are doing it a further banning on the modded box will result in the unbanned box also getting banned. This is ok if you have an unlimited supply of no longer useful RROD boards you can rip the CPU key from but it otherwise runs the risk of leaving you with 2 banned boxes.

They can't stop it now. Beck was whining about this Friday. It's a done deal. The exact final form is not done, but passing it is generally a certainty now..
To be fair, there are even scientist who dispute the belief that DNA is a helix. But, generally, these scientist are intelligent individuals entertaining ideas for fun. In other words, their pursuit is purely intellectual (and perhaps a strong desire to outsmart everyone in their field). Not to mention, reading these papers really highlight what we know/don't know about any subject... which is great for students. But, 'HIV causes AIDS' denialist believe the evidence is fabricated for some religious crusade against homosexuals and people who engage in risky behavior. In other words, they look for reasons to support their pre-conceive notions about the world. They don't do it for educational/intellectual purposes.!

Niven's "Ice World" comes to mind.?
rat.janico made a good point. why not let the decent honor this man in peace ? your canned rant and adolescent posturing is distasteful. we have to suffer people like you, it's the price of free speech. but i'm asking you to show some maturity and restraint and fore go the opportunity to be a jack ass.they'll be other opportunities to embarrass yourself. why not take a hesitant step towards growing up and let this one pass. |

The only way this will change the face of humanity is if someone gets one on their face.
