| A movie ticket that used to be $5, an opening day of $35M is 7M tickets sold. If tickets are $10 now and a film grosses $70M, it is still only 7M tickets sold. But everyone is in awe over a "$70M opening day". Same number of people saw both films. |

“The sad part is this $100,000,000 buyout is only (at most) 0.1% of the total cost of the bill. $1,000,000,000,000 could be divided up among every unemployed American for a nice $65,000. Instead we'll make sure José from Mexico can take his family of 6 to the hospital anytime he feels. In other America is going to ***** news, the Pontiac Silverdome stadium was auctioned off for $583,000 (for those who never heard of the stadium, it seats 77,000, hosted 2 super bowls, was the home of the Detroit Lions for 2 decades, and cost $200,000,000 in 2009 dollars to build).http://www.canada.com/sports/Toronto+company+buys+ ...

So, what if the internet is down? 7 seconds to what then?.
You don't seem to understand how serious depression can be. I'm not saying anything about this particular woman's case...I don't know if she's ripping people off or not...but people who are genuinely suffering from major depression can't just "get over [themselves]".!

Easy goals are few and far between in the NHL, I don't agree that Gionta's was by any means crazier. Stamkos was falling down, on the backhand, and was following up his own rebound. Gionta was just in the right place at the right time. He was also fighting for it with two defensemen. Nash is a stud, and shootout goals are always welcome for their spectacle. But that move was just a flash to freeze the goalie, and it wasn't a must score situation. If he had missed it, everyone woulda still had a good laugh and maybe an extra round or two.No home-town bias here either, Av's fan.P.S. Why the hell do they go from 5v5 to 4v4 in overtime, and then go to only 3 people for the shootout. At least have 5 rounds, you know, the amount of skaters on the ice during regular play.?
well he didnt admit it at the time, only to dunne when france won, and he knew that it was obvious and in the fifa rules he knew that the match couldn't be replayed |

UV0001 - "You say that as if the cats are declawed while still fully awake and aware. They are amply sedated and feel no point during the procedure. Recovery may be a little painful but its nothing to call "torture"."Okay, let's properly sedate you and remove the tips of your fingers, then see if you think it's no big deal."I'd rather have people own cats and have them declawed than not own cats for lack thereof and have more cats in shelters. They'd live better lives as declawed pets than if they still had their claws but are locked up in a shelter awaiting the needle."I'd rather people just took 5 minutes every two weeks and trimmed their cat's claws. I don't see people having their fingertips removed so they don't have to cut their own nails, so why not show your pets that minimal courtesy too? Seriously, I have doubts about anyone who is too lazy or ignorant to just cut their nails, and wonder if they should even be owning a cat - because if they're lacking in that then they're probably lacking in other areas of care. |
