So everyone who doesn't agree with you is dishonest? I happen to be a physicist, and I disagree with you. It was big, and it was quite a bang. Literally, it was dense enough for a time to carry sound, and it expanded quite rapidly.Stop showboating when you don't have a better explanation for the 'why' than anyone else.
For me, it's just a quick way to cut a few calories. But, yeah, i'd be better off actually exercising and drinking regular beer. Nothing beats a full-bodied beer. I don't know if anyone actually likes light beer purely for the taste. but i guess it could be refreshing on a hot day.

“The reason for making it run on peanut oil was so farmers could grow their own fuel and run their tractors on peanut oil. Although back in the 1930's I'm sure quite a few farmers sill used horses and oxen as the main source of farm power, but at least someone was planning ahead.

just modern day gypsies who can't afford the RV.
I loved "Let The Right One In"! It restored my faith in vampires and made me forget about these glittering emo pussies masquerading as something dangerous. Until New Moon advertising started at least.!

You know, half my training in the Marines involves role playing, pretending to fix things, and yelling "butter butter jam" in absence of blanks. I say that darkon stuff is pretty cool in comparison to some of the BS I've done.?
Yes. We need to bring everyone to a level of comfort, safety and education vaguely approximating that to that of, say, Romania. Imagine that, Bangladesh, India, China, Botswana, Madagascar, Egypt, Bolivia, Papua, all people having equivalent education, wealth, health care, creature comforts as the average Romanian. Which still isn't christmas, but it would be a lot better.PROBLEM is if we help people up to this level of affluence we instantly increase the level of pollution they put out. And that is a LOT of extra pollution. We must do this, if only to maintain stability, somewhere this century - but it will make a significant difference if we lift three to four billion out of endemic poverty than SIX to EIGHT billion. Remember - that many poor people is a limitless ocean of poor wage countries. If you make sure they are not low wage countries as soon as possible they become consumers of your products rather than competitors for your jawb. So, what's it gona be? |

Ignoring the fact that local gravitational effects can be and usually are stronger than distant gravitational effects does not "prove" the existence of dark matter. Seeing something beyond the "end of the world" of Big Bang theorists isn't proof of dark matter either. However, planet hunting is a desirable endeavor and if the observations obtained are useful in the search although misinterpreted, then I don't object. People usually learn best from their mistakes.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's not that people can't smile or have a good time when they're depressed. It's far deeper than that. |
