"terrorist groups like Al Qaeda aren't the sharpest pencils in the cup" - I don't find that too surprising. Being a good hacker requires critical thinking skills and a passion for understanding the world around you in a scientific way. I doubt that's very compatible with religious fundamentalism, especially when a good deal of their recruits come from the other side of the digital divide.

I didn't think it would happen without Republican support. One hand I'm glad it could still be passed, on the other, I've thought this the entire time, this is such a big bill that it should need support from both sides before anyone is comfortable with it passing, but time and time again the Republicans have shown how stubborn they are. This is the problem with a 2 party system. People get so scared from their party that they pretty much have to vote along their parties lines or they will be labeled an outcast. I'm saying this for both parties. I honestly can't believe all Dems think this is the good and all Reps think this is bad. There were people from both sides who were on the edge on which way to vote, but look what they did. They stuck with party lines. This is the problem with lobbyist. They put so much money in the pockets of people they are scared to vote for/against something cause the money lining their pockets is too good to have stopped. The same can be said as the last paragraph. I'm sure many followed where the money was coming from, not just this vote, but all.
I wish more seniors were online. I think they have a lot of wisdom they could share. No not every old person is a scholar but they've lived a long time and seen many things. Despite what we like to think, we're not so unique as to be unrelatable to past generations. They have a lot they can teach us if they were willing to and of course if we're willing to take a break from patting our own backs to actually listen. Plus I think online seniors are less likely to be judged in an instant like they are when physically interacting with a person. It could be a win win situation for all of us. So do yourself and all of us a favor, help grandma and grandpa get online!!

I think we all can agree to that. However, how many of us (raises hand) are at work right now, posting comments on digg? How many of us have used the company copy machine or fax machine for personal use? How many of us have a company pen in their bag?Listen, I understand that employers are often put in tough spots and simply don't want to deal with this *****. So rather than hear case after case and make a hard decision, they simply set strict boundaries. So I don't necessarily blame the school for firing the guy. The ***** that runs the blog, however, is another matter entirely. Use a word filter. Be draconian and ban the IP address. Moderate each post. But to call the guy's employment? Disgusting..
***** this, I'm just gonna wait until The Singularity arrives and my body and brain are injected with billions of nanobots which completely repair and augment my body and brain in under a minute.!

1. Don't make things overly cinematic like the chase scene where you are supposed to chase the peggorino boys to peggorino to kill him.2. More features like San andreas had, character attributes, change of hair style, Etc.3. More than 1 Airport. There should have been 2 airports in GTAIV. As stated by NIko in one of the Peggorino missions, Alderny wasn't part of the city, so it may as well be part of another state. Another airport would have made more sense. Since it is based off of NY and NJ anyways, FIA could have been LGA and in Alderny, a Teterboro like airport could have been put in. This seems like the developers were just too lazy to put in 2 airports and just used the "oh its just one city there is no use for an airport" excuse to cover their asses.4. Flyable Airplanes are a must. You can't just take away a major thing that Many people liked from GTASA and not put it in to the next game.5. Allow open modding on all versions of the game and not just the PC version6. If the original game of the series isn't console exclusive, don't make "episodes" of the game exclusive too. That means GIVE US PS3 OWNERS LOST AND DAMNED AND BALLAD OF GAY TONY!!!. *****. Is Rockstar going to make the next one 360 exclusive or something?

Question - though it is clear mankind imagines various possibilities in creating robot and A.I. assisted killing devices is it yet possible to create an A.I. program that can accurately communicate the logical and compelling motives for non violence effectively to the engaged violent mind in critical and non-critical scenarios? Has mankind come at all close to this notion? If so, how close is estimated success? The A.I. need not be strict in its theoretical scope (i.e. true and independent sentience) - just effective within the same cybernetic theory as assisted physical robotics.
