Ahhh, another yearly entry at digg. But out of all of them, I don't mind this particular one being a seasonal submission - it's funny enough to see again.

“Modern climate science seems to have little to do with climate science.Looks more like reorganization of global economy (CO2 quota markets etc).

I have 2 tips for everybody.1. Stay the ***** away from Walmart unless you want to risk your life.2. Go to Sam's Club and get their free breakfast..
i'm kind of jealous of your 400mhz and 128mb of ram. not only do you have twice as much ram needed for my everquest fix, but the wheel of time must run at 60fps.!

So you are saying that it is acceptable that he just made a promise with the intention of not keeping it just so he could get some votes??
I've helped (semi)homeless people at a church before. Many of those who work dead end jobs are also forced to find some place to live because many jobs require residential address. Worst nightmare comes when you don't even have place to stay and people refuse to hire you just because you are without a transportation/residence. And that practice keeps many homeless be homeless and never find a way to settle down. I am just saying, even in the states, there are people who might be just glad to find some place to sleep and rest. |

The link to politifact, only talks about insurance company profits over the last 8 years. I didn't find a link to the increase in doctors vs administrators but I encourage you to research it yourself to prove me wrong. Alright so you want to point out the fraud rates on medicare. Those people who defraud medicare are breaking the law. I am saddened by the way people try to take advantage of the system, and I agree it is a huge problem. But that is not a fault of the system. By the same logic I could say that we shouldn't have laws against murder, because people still murder, but that is a ridiculous argument because no matter what, people will always break the law to benefit themselves. And no, the administrators do not work for the insurance companies. The reason why I bring up the increase in administrators is because the system has become so complex, that it takes many trained individuals just to figure out how to bill medical expenses correctly, and those jobs add to the cost of healthcare. I can't remember the exact numbers off the top of my head, but there is something like 3,000-5,000 different health insurance plans in this country, and each one is billed differently. It has become a bureaucracy that makes the federal government look pale in comparison. And that's how they make money. By stalling and questioning, and complicating the process. I went to school for 8yrs to get my PharmD, and I have to answer daily to people with BA's in business that have no clue about medicine. It takes up my time, my staffs time, doctors time, nurses time, etc... And that is how they make their money. They are the epitome of a middle man, and they do a diservice to this country. Why do you think health care has become so expensive? Look at the links I provided. The average MD makes about 139,000$ a year, while the insurance executives, with absolutely no medical knowledge make millions off of our sweat and sacrifice. Is that what you want?

I know a guy who's child just died from H1N1. Apparently she had almost no symptoms up until the day she died, and died very quickly after starting to feel ill (within the course of a day). It's very real to those affected, despite what everyone on Digg says.http://www.examiner.com/x-28679-Boston-Working-Mom ... |
