http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buy_Nothing_DayI like this version better..
I didn't think it would happen without Republican support. One hand I'm glad it could still be passed, on the other, I've thought this the entire time, this is such a big bill that it should need support from both sides before anyone is comfortable with it passing, but time and time again the Republicans have shown how stubborn they are. This is the problem with a 2 party system. People get so scared from their party that they pretty much have to vote along their parties lines or they will be labeled an outcast. I'm saying this for both parties. I honestly can't believe all Dems think this is the good and all Reps think this is bad. There were people from both sides who were on the edge on which way to vote, but look what they did. They stuck with party lines. This is the problem with lobbyist. They put so much money in the pockets of people they are scared to vote for/against something cause the money lining their pockets is too good to have stopped. The same can be said as the last paragraph. I'm sure many followed where the money was coming from, not just this vote, but all.!

He 'snapped' in the same manner the 9/11 hijackers did. As in, after a long period of being a radical and after careful planning to get his affairs in order.?
To relate another dig story - not believing in evolution would mean not understanding how to deal with malaria or other major deceases that mutate or more typically - we use a drug/vaccine that kills all of it except the few that are resistant to the the drug and they fill the gap. |

How about making driving fun again instead of having "realistic" cars that spin out when they hit a ***** paper cup?

Read ***** the article?!?!? I'm not sure why you got your panties all in a bunch, but Cryoniq was just explaining the basis of influenza mutation (which the article lacked). The article makes it seem like some super strain is brewing, when all it was was most likely antigenic drift that caused these independent cases.
