I think there was a lawsuit to change the documentation referring to master and slave drives in computers because it offended black people.
No. This was cloture to start the debate. There is still another cloture vote to end debate (that is the one people usually think of when they say 'cloture'.) I believe there would be another one for whatever bill came out of the House-Senate reconciling committee.

moifauxmail (comment) - "I assume this was the same adaptation that would have seen Salvador Dali as the Emperor of the Known Universe and Pink Floyd doing the soundtrack? Pure amazing crazy that would have been." I felt this needed repeating.

"Branda wanted to make clear that this photoswitch would likely not have the same effect on humans. 'You'd have to have a huge amount of it," he explained. "If you did, you might see the activity of cells shut down, which would eventually kill them. Paralysis is just an intermediate step to death in many cases.' "Does anyone else feel like he didn't do a very good job of doing what the author of this article said he was going to do?.

Thats because the problem IS Hollywood. Its their business model. Im not saying piracy isnt wrong or that its justified, jsut that it exists for a reason... actually several:1.) Theatre admission is overpriced as are concessions.2.) The quality of the actual product gets progressively worse every year.3.) The industry does not give timely access to demanding markets - Why should one have to wait to buy a DVD, Rent, or PPV? And i fi live in a nation not part of the original release why should I have to wait? Alot of people in developed nations have home theatres that are better than the actual theatre itself - and even if you are one of those "its the experience" people, you have to admit that most of the time other moviegoers have a tendency to detract from the actual experience.4.) It is generally more convenient to download a film or tv show and watch it than it is to access it legally.5.) If i buy the content once Im not buying it again. Period. And i will use it on whatever device i want. IF this is legal cool. If its illegal it doesnt change that fact.If they would seriously address these issues and try to come up with solutions that allow them to make some profit while catering to the consumer then they will have a win. IF they dont then they will lose. ITs pretty much that simple. And no amount of legal wrangling is going to change that. Additionally, Piracy is always going to exists in the form of unauthorized sales.

It's true, It's thanks to Fox News that I learned you can be an elitist and a socialist at the same time and it makes total logical sense! Also did you know Obama is a communist who is slapping a socialist agenda on the United States? He's spitting on his own morality of being a communist while destroying America by trying to be Robin Hood!
