It's rare to find such a caring pimp these days.
I've never seen anyone on pot act like a hooligan. That's more typical of what Alcohol does to you. Stoners tend to be either quiet, or giggling at everything.

Well, "letting it be" is a different matter. Of course people are free to believe what they wish. But a belief in something without sufficient evidence *is* silly. I'm not saying it's just religious folk. There's a whole bunch of people who choose to believe that the MMR vaccine causes autism or that cellphones cause brain cancer. People believe in UFO abductions, and ghosts, and horoscopes, and bad luck when a black cat crosses your path.Should people who believe in Heaven, Hell, sin, Christ-the-son-of-God (and his resurrection, may I add) and the efficacy of prayer be left alone? Sure. Should we pretend these aren't crazy beliefs because all these concepts aren't "disproven"? I don't think so.?
It's called evolution. If you breed with the disabled or whatever the chances are your children will also be disabled."attractive"/"unattractive" is another was of saying "good to reproduce with"/"bad to reproduce with".Perfectly normal.Ditto forming groups, tribal attitudes etc. What's ab-normal is the modern Western attitude of fake universal tolerance, multi-culturalism and "diversity". |

I had to stop reading the taxi stories, as so many of them have happened to us when we traveled, and I was remembering the bad parts of many, many trips, like ending up at a hotel way outside town when our cabbie outright lied and said everything in town was booked. Or paying $25 to go 3 miles to an airport in Mexico. But here's another. My husband and I split a taxi with someone we met on a train in Eastern Europe. My husband paid the fare, only to learn that our train friend had already paid in full while we were getting our bags out of the trunk. The cabbie, capable enough of understanding where we needed to go, pretended he didn't understand what we were upset about, though he clearly knew he'd been paid double.

Don't worry, everyone. The natural world will just keep bailing us out forever no matter what we do to it.That's what I learned on Digg anyway.
