I hope you're right, and I think you're right. But I have worries based on elected officials promoting their secessionist insanity in recent appearances on military bases, the GOP's embrace of the extremist right, and Orly Taitz and her fan club and their efforts to encourage soldiers on active duty to defy orders.
The reason is someone going the speed limit would have allowed for adequate time to make that turn. It is much harder to judge the speed of an oncoming car at night with the headlights in your face. This is the cops fault for speeding through a flashing yellow.?
