Don't forget blatant racism and selling newspapers. I'd argue that Hurst was almost completely responsible for marijuana prohibition in America. I've said it before and I'll say it again: William Randolph Hurst was one of the worst Americans ever..
Until the Hong Kong government spoiled it there was a Libertarian Paradise there where only free market forces shaped the city.http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=kowloo ...If we follow Ayn Rand diligently one day we could have that here.!

So why does it speed up when I try to play it again??
the '04 one did a pretty good job of summing up the Marvel Knights series, I thought. Tom Jane played a pretty good Frank Castle...the '89 one is one of the worst movies i've ever seen, though, and the '08 one was absolutely retarded.Marvel has never really given a ***** about Punisher, though. just look at the ongoing Max series. it's painfully bad. ever since Ennis left it's just been downhill. and that War Journal reboot, dear god. |

Joe Posnanski was a writer for the Kansas City Star. He knows all about the Royals' woes.He is excellent, I just about cried when left for SI. Now all we've got is Jason Whitlock...

L4D2 was definitely worth the money, especially if you hadn't bought the first. I still think the people who got L4D1 at release for 50 bucks lost out though, and I think that's what a lot of the boycott was about, not whether or not L4D2 was actually going to be worth the money. I think people bought L4D1 for full price, even though it was a bit light in content, because they trusted valve based upon their previous reputation with TF2 and the Half-Life series of games adding content value after the fact. If the game isn't up to snuff for $50, valve has always made it good down the road, and often they've done it in spades so it's a safe buy. Plus, early interviews with Valve employees on L4D1 said pretty similar things, so people bought on trust. I can see why they would be a bit miffed. (remember tf2 included 6 maps at launch)That said, L4D2 is worth it's price right up front, but I expect valve will indeed add content to it and make it even better. I bought l4d2 in the four pack, and so overall have about $33 invested per game, a fair price for both.
