Assuming I believe one single word of this article, this just goes to show how ignorant the general public is about how science works. Even if one group is manipulating data (which, admittedly, is possible, and does happen from time to time, unfortunately), do you really believe that does anything to seriously discredit the hundreds of results published in legitimate, peer-reviewed scientific journals by research groups all over the world?Sometimes I think the internet has turned people dumber. Science isn't like writing a blog; you don't get to publish whatever you feel like. Publications go through a rigorous review process prior to appearing in any respected scientific journals. The evidence in favor of anthropogenic climate change is about as strong as for any other widely accepted theory. But some guy with a blog says some hacker has blown up the whole theory. Conveniently, he doesn't bother to provide any evidence for his claims whatsoever. Brilliant.
