| They do TRY to hold you hostage, but if your story is "I'm sorry but we just got married last night and we're closing on a house in a month and ANY major financial purchase will ***** that up," they have to leave you alone. Eventually. They tried to pull some crap about "anyway money" like we were actually spending money to go to Vegas every month. In reality, we'd just gotten a Rio club card, gambled about $100 with it, and never gambled another dime. It took the Rio fully 12 months of comping 2 nights a month (Sun-Thur of course) to figure out we weren't gamblers.Anyway, after 3 hours of "no. no. no. no. no. no. no." we got out of there with 2 $85 dinner-and-a-show tickets. |

Massachussets has East Coast White Unity (a neo-nazi "skinhead" group), along with the Council of Conservative Citizens, and the National Socialist Movement. So, no, Mass is by no means free of this *****, it just takes a different form.

Is having sex with your clone....incest or masturbation?.
Amazing that God put all those galaxies and everything else out there as window dressing for our tiny speck of a planet. Oh, wait, that's a stupid ***** notion.!

I'm sure this has something to do with Jesus loving teabaggers.?
There is a casino in my state that has electronic blackjack tables, they have a "dealer" who just takes and gives chips. But it is not the same as having real cards and I would always be wary of the odds being changed on the game. |

Linux is actually the only OS that I know of - or it was until this story about Windows 7 broke - that includes a major component that was initially developed by the NSA. It's called SELinux, and it's now part of the kernel.I'm sure the NSA has contributed to other OS's as well, not necessarily in a sinister way.

I completely agree. Where's the market for this? How much cheaper can computers get? We basically have the non-techies and the techies:Non-techies: I suppose this is aimed at them, but at least not for a very long time will they want it because when they ask "will it work with my camera?" or "can I use my printer with it?" or "will [application x] work with it?" the answer may very well be "no." Those users only want/need one machine, and because of the limitations, they won't buy one with Chrome OS on it. Instead, they can buy one of the many netbooks/nettops/or even full on PCs that can be had for easily for $200 or less, with a full fledged operating system, and they can still get the exact same benefits by simply using a standard web browser (even chrome itself).Techies: they won't want it because of it's obvious limitations. So really, who is this for? I'm not counting it out yet, Google is much smarter than I am and has been thinking about it a lot more than I have, but I just don't see it. The chrome browser made some sense, but a whole OS that IS the browser? I don't really know how they expect to break into an already competitive market by adding limitations without providing anything that's better/cheaper than what's already available. |
