The sad part is this $100,000,000 buyout is only (at most) 0.1% of the total cost of the bill. $1,000,000,000,000 could be divided up among every unemployed American for a nice $65,000. Instead we'll make sure José from Mexico can take his family of 6 to the hospital anytime he feels. In other America is going to ***** news, the Pontiac Silverdome stadium was auctioned off for $583,000 (for those who never heard of the stadium, it seats 77,000, hosted 2 super bowls, was the home of the Detroit Lions for 2 decades, and cost $200,000,000 in 2009 dollars to build).http://www.canada.com/sports/Toronto+company+buys+ ...
This is also what happens when unions expect the government "bailout" to rescue them.

What's sad is he hasn't talked to her in SIX years.?
AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) isn't a virus. It's a condition caused by a virus (HIV). According to the article, it's possible to have HIV without it developing into AIDS. |

"If these organisms can survive the smoking process -- and we believe they can -- then they could possibly go on to contribute to both infectious and chronic illnesses..."What an enormous load of horse crap.1) What makes them "believe they do"? Just a hunch?2) How do the pathogens on tobacco leaves compare to those on, say, a head of lettuce? We all know smoking is dangerous. It's not necessary to make up ridiculous tabloid-grade stories to bolster the case. This is the dumbest "science" piece I've seen all week.

Nobody said traveling was a skill, numbnuts. It's an opportunity, and a revelatory experience. This man saw every country in the world. That makes him an interesting person. A synonym for "interesting" is "pretty cool", btw. The fact that you think he "gets nothing for it" suggests that you might in fact be pretty boring yourself.(Also, you fail to realize that doing something like this--braving bullets and bombs and who knows what else) doesn't just require time and money, it requires dedication, which is an admirable trait by anybody's book).
