“Don't want it. How would you play a large game or edit video or even photos with this? Also, what if my DSL provider sucks and I have come to expect periodic outages? If I can afford high speed wireless, I can afford a better laptop than what these will have.I don't think there is really much of a demand for this kind of cloud computing yet. If there were, people would already largely be doing it with existing devices. A quick booting, cloud-only device won't sell them on it. Maybe (maybe) this will take off for primary education, where they need a tightly controlled environment, but I doubt it has potential elsewhere right now.Main point: the device won't sell the concept.

I really don't get the big deal, the technology has been around for ages, it's just simply that the technology sucks. Your average person does not want to sit through a movie with a friend or family with ridiculous glasses on. I am all about technology, but I really don't get very hyped up over 3D movies that require glasses. As someone else said, if they can come up with natively 3D displays that don't require glasses that can be implemented in theaters, fine, otherwise, save your money..
where's the guy that always says this is the best one ever?!

GFW will always suck. Microsoft cares more about the 360 so the PC will always be a distant second. They screw PC gamers by making 360-exclusives which could fairly easily be on the PC as well. Even worse: they take games originally developed for the PC (Alan Wake) and make it 360-exclusive with no plans of a PC version at all (maybe years down the road). If they would put a good amount of their 360 library on the PC and let 360 and PC gamers play together and use a steam-like system for the PC, Microsoft would have a big winner on their hands. But instead they support the demise of PC gaming in favor of gaming on the 360 =(?
might be better than people using tinfoil, though. I know I used to do that back in the day before I bought a bowl. |

I thought HL2 was a great release. I didn't get any of the other episodes, but i was thoroughly happy with that game.

Just change the buffer length. The default setting should work with your current system if it's reletively new. But for your older computer; this should fix it.File -> Preferences -> Playback -> OutputPlay with the buffer length until it no longer skips. |
