I'm Australian & now live in Brazil. In 3 years here I've learnt - Brazilians don't understand man rules!(Sorry for the exclemation mark, but it's necessary).I was brought up to pick the furthest urinal you can from the next guy, using a basic 'split the difference' method. It doesn't happen here & it freaks me out. Often, you walk into a bathroom with 3 urinals & someone is using the middle one. Other times, you go into one with 5, use one on the end and someone else walks in & uses the one right next to you. They're freaks I tell you! Either that or they're all hung like Dirk Diggler and want to make us Gringoes feel inferior. I'm too scared(of finding out that's true) to glance across......
FTA"He said that his client never supplied the drug but hoarded large supplies of pure cocaine to evade “unscrupulous dealers”My pet rat does the same thing when I feed him treats. He prefers hoarding them for future consumption.

They've ran a program up where I am in NY along the same lines: but for students 16-24.It was for their MCAS in Office 2007 (namely, Word to start). Only catch was if they passed the exam, they'd get a $400 check. If they didn't... $300.It sure as hell got enough kids in and certified in the workforce... but for the wrong reasons. Everybody was there for the money and not for the certification. It was a "three week" program you'd go through, but most kids were in and out in all of 3-4 days. Kinda sad.http://www.attain.suny.edu/news_detail.php?news_ID ....
I buried you. But still had to chuckle. You understand.!

"Bacteria of medical significance to humans were identified in all of the tested cigarettes and included Acinetobacter (associated with lung and blood infections); Bacillus (some varieties associated with food borne illnesses and anthrax); Burkholderia (some forms responsible for respiratory infections); Clostridium(associated with foodborne illnesses and lung infections); Klebsiella (associated with a variety of lung, blood and other infections); and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (an organism that causes 10 percent of all hospital-acquired infections in the United States)."Alright, when will we stop reading these The Onion sto.... (reads url bar: http://www.sciencedaily.com/ )Oh SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII?
Hint to those who ignore history, it's not a government program, quite the opposite. |

Yes, you absolutely can under starvation conditions. One large binge meal a day was not an uncommon thing for early nomadic humans, in fact relativistically, such a meal would likely be viewed as an absolute godsend during famine or drought conditions. Don't view hunger as a condition that if persisting is any indication of impending death. People have, and I imagine some people still do, go through an entire life hungry.
