“The non-video services (ip-relay) are a PITA for financial institutions and other businesses. The bank I work for has had thousands of calls just over the last 6 months or so requesting info for various accounts, with 9/10 being fraudulent. Fortunately, when setting up accounts, there are comments stating the client is deaf. Also, some of our deaf clients use email to communicate (not impenetrable, I know) with bank staff.

What beliefs do atheist lobby for? For that matter what laws do pedophiles lobby for? I see your trying to make the argument that evil people can lobby why not "righteous" people. As a citizen of this country you have every right to lobby for whatever laws you wish for. But you have no right to circumvent the Constitution no matter what religion you have. Abortion is a constitutionally protected medical procedure you will NEED to implement a constitutional ban before it will ever go away and there is nothing you can do about it. The supreme court has already ruled on it. On that same note Homosexuals are denied basic rights on the basis of religious discrimination and is both against the 1st and the 14 amendment. Your religion may not like it and it has no business in telling the government to ignore the constitution. As a former Catholic and current Atheist I can tell you that Atheist don't lobby for anything short of what the constitution asks for. Which is "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof". The phrase under god in the pledge, the in god we trust in our money, the religious stuff in our public places are all forms of respecting an establishment of religion. We do not want to BAN religion. We simply ask that it not be the basis for our government or laws AS THE CONSTITUTION DEMANDS. And no by removing god from our pledge or our money does not make us an atheist nation nor does it mean that the government is respecting an establishment of atheism. It order for it to do that our money would have to say "In God we DO NOT trust" it was have to explicit say something along those lines for it to be atheist as long as they keep quite they atheism and religions are on equal footing. This continued intervention of religion into our government and politics and the mentality displayed by people like you is EXACTLY the reason I became an atheist.!

Again a jury goes above any rational monetary settlement for this type of situation. This is going hurt other tobacco addicts who will see their cigarette prices go up.?
Yeah, they circulated the beams again today. Should get the first collisions in the next couple of days. |

what are you basing that on? All the OTHER areas where they have become the market leader over the last 6 years or so? (Hint: there are ZERO areas where they have entered a market and made a sginficant impact in the last 6 years. Gmail is the closest and they are a distant third.)

I never understood the "this is not critical, so ignore the issue for ever" mentality. There is nothing wrong with L.A. dealing with this issue. At least with this title, the submitter ensures himself a healthy dose of diggs. Sensationalist Title Ftw! |
