| Yet another reason not to go out to restaurants that require tips.Heck, just grab takeout from most of these restaurants. Eat at home without having to pay tips, and your bill is 15% cheaper. It's like a 15% off coupon.... :) |

As if the cringe worthy sexist subtext of the novels wasn't enough, the movies feature some of the most overwrought acting I've ever seen. The dialog plays out like bad fanfiction, the setting is about as compelling as a desk chair, and the characters have all the depth of a piss stain and are about as appealing.I have no idea what is supposed to the least bit appealing about these books or movies. None. Have people just not read good writing before? Have they not seen a good movie before? The only way I can imagine someone enjoying all of this is by virtue of simply not knowing any better. The really disturbing part is that I'm at university and all of these 18-22 year old girls are just as obsessed with these books as your average middle schooler. These are people I would otherwise respect, and yet here they are obsessing over stories that, aside from being just poorly conceived and written, effectively set women back 50 years.I just... why? Can anyone explain to me why?
Like I need a robot to make me obsolete before I'm done with medical school!! PFFT.On the other hand, it's pretty cool *****. Expensive *****. The da vinci robotic surgery system runs $1.6 million and several hundred thousand a year to maintain. Granted, it makes for excellent surgery, but you won't see it outside academic centers and research facilities.

Unexplained with no details on anything other than the game in question, and it doesn't even explain the game well either. Bad blog!Anyways, that game is fun if you like simulation and story. It's your basic anime high school story where the guy, you, help certain girls get over their personal problems. Meanwhile, you do daily things like study, workout, work, etc. to build up your "boyfriend" stats--fitness, intelligence, appeal and style--so that the anime chick will like you. If you did everything right, one of the three girls will confess their crush and you'll have the option to become their boyfriend or not. If you did everything wrong, you'll have to restart the game after 100 days because the school year will end. If you DID manage to get a girl, the rest of the game will go into real time. Your DS will turn into a cellphone/planner that you use to schedule your daily chores and contact your "girlfriend." So if you have a "date" on Sunday, then you better have your DS on you on Sunday. The game is essentially the otaku's holy grail of dating simulation games because it's supposedly endless..
She seems very lucid for her age. Not many people her age putting up Youtube videos either.!

They forgot #6, no obese people on motorized scooters.?
Incorrect statement really. You are talking about corn syrup, or HFCS more specifically. The blend used here in the US is called HFCS 55 and made from corn, thus the name.If you try a soda from overseas it is made with cane sugar, as god intended. Not nearly as sweet. I could give you an orange Fanta from another country and you'd swear it was diet. There is actually a scale for gauging sweetness with table sugar being a 1. Artificial sweeteners like saccharine is hundreds and thousands times sweeter, thus they need less and its called "diet." There is a new sweetener derived from a plant, that is something like 13,000 times sweeter. Thank the good ole US gov't for subsidizing corn so heavily and thus killing us slowly with this unnatural concoction. I want some throwback Dew dammit! At the very least, C2, that stuff was great. |
