The non-video services (ip-relay) are a PITA for financial institutions and other businesses. The bank I work for has had thousands of calls just over the last 6 months or so requesting info for various accounts, with 9/10 being fraudulent. Fortunately, when setting up accounts, there are comments stating the client is deaf. Also, some of our deaf clients use email to communicate (not impenetrable, I know) with bank staff.
There's hope for the Nanny State yet!
> i think the point is that if whatever internet you're using goes down you no longer have access to get your files from the "cloud"Which in general is exactly the same problem you have now, if you store stuff on the internet and not on your comp. Which I do alot. However, there is _no_ reason you can't connect a USB HDD to one of these things and store all your cloud files there. I try to keep my USB drive synced with whats in the cloud on a semi-weekly basis (depending on changes). The small SSD on these things is mostly about price. If you want a 160gb drive to store your stuff, buy an external.

One thing I've learned from the hype that precedes every version of every major browser is that the phrases "much smoother" and "much faster" apparently mean something completely different to software developers (or their marketing departments) than what they mean to me.
Every year, hundreds of web designers take their own lives rather than continue the hopeless struggle of making their websites IE compatible. Is that what you really want?? Dead web designers????? Cause that's what you're going to get!!!!!! See if I care!!!!!!!!!!
