See how your comment is being dugg up, I'm obviously in the minority here, but I disagree. I think fan prototypes typically look amateurish. Which isn't really surprising since they are usually designed by amateurs. I much prefer the actual designs of a super-talented professional like Ives.
You seem pretty shallow if you only judge how successful a country is by their GDP.http://colombiapassport.com/2008/07/02/list-of-ran ...

“"There were protests in the streets, they burned Bush in effigy, and worse....'Um...Those protests were over the Patriot Act, the Iraq "war", etc. They had nothing to do with ambassadorships.

Kimberly-Clark buying 'green' power and using envioronmentally friendly sources for pulp is good. At least it shows that they care. It doesn't do much for their bottom line, though...it's costing them extra...!! They won't get the real (economic) benifit of 'going green' until they modernize their old-style (dirty, energy-intensive and chemical-intensive) processes. It may look like a huge task, but if they worked to develop the new methods using enzymes for pulp processing and 'bleaching', they could make more money. It would mean using less heat, chemicals and water, it would use less energy and do less envioronmental damage. It would be a total 'win', if they would just make the effort...!!Here's the latest info on using enzymes to make paper (pdf)...http://www.fpl.fs.fed.us/documnts/pdf2003/kenea03a ....
Whenever I run the 400m all the lactic acid builds up most in my calves making the last 100m nearly unbearable, this obviously doesn't happen with him. Watching him on video he seems like the only one who can sustain and even build speed through the stored energy in his springs in the last 100m, going from last place to second place.!

This game sucks compared to DRAGON AGE!?
Republicans are fiscal conservatives. Up is down. War is peace. Etc.FTA: "The Medicare drug benefit was a pure giveaway with a gross cost greater than either the House or Senate health reform bills how being considered. Together the new bills would cost roughly $900 billion over the next 10 years, while Medicare Part D will cost $1 trillion. Moreover, there is a critical distinction--the drug benefit had no dedicated financing, no offsets and no revenue-raisers; 100% of the cost simply added to the federal budget deficit, whereas the health reform measures now being debated will be paid for with a combination of spending cuts and tax increases, adding nothing to the deficit over the next 10 years, according to the Congressional Budget Office. (See here for the Senate bill estimate and here for the House bill.)" |
