Next time I tell a girl I'll kiss every inch of her until she begs me to stop........ I'll need to detoxify her first
If the multiworld interpretation of quantum mechanics holds true, then in many universes, Sarah Palin does indeed become president, and in at least some of those, she makes a good one. Staggering to try to imagine, but that's what the theory states. In this universe, however, she will never be president.

Finally, cannibalism makes a positive contribution to human civilization..
People don't like broken promises, regardless of importance.I'm not saying that Valve broke any, by the way, but it certainly looked like they might for a while there.!

(pastes down a little bit of crazy glue)...'yea that should do it'?
Submitter seems really intent on ridiculing something that seems perfectly suited to what it's supposed to do. |

Heard that working in MS is a nightmare. (in one of the design departments anyway...)Am sure there are A LOT of frustrated guys on the IE team rooting for standards, but can only imagine the amount of red tape one would have to go through to get stuff done there... ie Sinofsky.

There is no bias on my part, I am simply telling you what I witnessed in my time as a Mormon. Of course not ALL Mormon women turn out to be helpless housewives, but the Mormon church heavily encourages this behavior of "in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant" to coin a term. You cannot see the Mormon church for what it truly is, because you are still inside of it. I do not think the Mormon church is evil in any way, because I quite enjoyed all of the friendly people I met there. But you asked about the connection to Twilight, and the allegory of it's story arc to Mormonism.Basically, throughout the whole story, Bella is a helpless woman who needs a man to rescue her all the time. When she tried to be independent, she realizes she can't, and needs a man to live. She even almost kills herself over it by jumping off a cliff. Also, the whole thing about Edward desperately wanting Bellas blood is an allusion to premarital sex, and his restraint to be pure and clean. There are several underlying Mormon traits to the Twilight Saga. I am not saying they are good or bad, I am simply stating they are there. |
