You forgot the /sarcasm tag.
See, I don't get this. Stewart is news satire. He doesn't report what's happening, he mocks it. No one watches him to become informed, they watch him for the satire and perspective.

I never understood the "this is not critical, so ignore the issue for ever" mentality. There is nothing wrong with L.A. dealing with this issue. At least with this title, the submitter ensures himself a healthy dose of diggs. Sensationalist Title Ftw!.
best character in Simpsons!

Sure sounds a bit sensationalism. The grower almost has to be a pro and has thousands of dollars in equipment to evade detection and produce a yield of that level.

You wouldn't be overjoyed that an artwork that you created is considered relevant to society in even some way 200 years after you were dead? The reason that this piece is able to be used this way is because it is unique and stands in stark contrast to the more formal, rigid portraits of the period. Something about the composition, the dress, the pose, it's casual nature speaks to our culture and to us as human beings. One of the most major issues any artist faces is that of relevance. Most are never considered truly relevant. Some are relevant in their time or after or even before. But the greats are relevant to all time, to all people. This is a success, not a slight.

He was amazing in 3:10 to Yuma. He upstaged both Russel Crowe and Christian Bale in that movie. He was also good in Pandorum. He's just good in every movie. |
