I think it is the way to go. I work in front of a PC almost all day long, and 90% of what I do is with applications in a browser. If they could put Excel in browser, it would be 100%. There are so many advantages with cloud applications -- stability, upgrades, security, portability, accessibility. The only thing that is really lacking vis a vis the desktop is rich media and performance. And much of that is what Chrome OS is all about. Personally, I welcome the Chrome OS overlords.

The Telegraph have picked up the story toohttp://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/jamesdelingpole/ ...It looks like this story is huge!
"James Delingpole is a writer, journalist and broadcaster who is right about everything. He is the author of numerous fantastically entertaining books including Welcome To Obamaland: I've Seen Your Future And It Doesn't Work, How To Be Right, and the Coward series of WWII adventure novels. "Well HE sounds impartial! When I see more than 3-4 people involved in a major way, I'll get interested. It is pretty funny to see all the same players wetting their pants over this.
