Today we have conservatives trying to superficially distance themselves from the GOP by saying they're "conservatives" and the problem is "Democrats AND Republicans" (i.e. Glenn Beck). But these people aren't even conservatives, they're just crazies. And crazies have taken over the libertarians too. True fiscal conservatism is dying indeed.
I have never understood the obsession with boot time too. Besides the automatic update reboots I only reboot my computer maybe once a month. Do I want long boot times, no but anything under minute is fine with me. I care more about file transfer speed, stability, and things like that I use every day.

“Are you in Japan? In NJ / NYC sushi costs about 12 dollars for 6 small rolls. You generally end up spending 25-30 USD per meal (with a drink).

I understand the realism, but they seem a tad obsessed with ugly people..
At least when Jews do it, they have sex with female prostitutes.!

It had some groovy visualisations and skins. Though I'm fairly sure they've been adapted to other players by now. But it was pretty fun at the time...?

*sigh* curse my true skepticism! Its not TOO elaborate to be a hoax. There are very powerful people with a vested interest in bringing down the AGW alarmism. Of course, the "science" that is currently used to say there will be any significant amount of AGW is utter crap...but that doesn't mean this leaked data is real....but it looks like it is and it looks BAD for the likes of Michael Mann. Not sure if the unadjusted hadley data is present there but if it is, someone's going to jail for fraud (for denying a FOIA request to what SHOULD have always been freely available data)

You know toxic, I heard any interesting speech by Scalia where he made reference to the fact that the Bill of Rights was really an afterthought. Furthermore, the Soviet Union (among other nations) had a more comprehensive Bill of Rights than we do - but it didn't matter, because it was just words on paper. The real protector of rights in America is the STRUCTURE of our government, as set up in the core of the Constitution. Very few nations have a truly bicameral legislature, and very few nations have an independent executive. American government is intentionally set up to be gridlock, to make it darn difficult to pass legislation than any significant portion of the population has a problem with - the best protection available for your rights.
