It's funny how people find this racist, but "The Godfather" movies arent..
I remember a decade ago when the "vampire/goth" kids got beat up for looking like douche bags now you can't take two steps into the mall without seeing "vampire" mechandise in every store. I kid you not I was in the mall the other day and they were selling a "vampire" accessory kit that included a pair of fake fangs in the window of Hot Topic. When a dude walked out of there stuffing some fake teeth in his mouth, I seriously wished they had a "vampire hunter" accessory kit to rip open so I could shove the included stake in his heart.!

About 90% of the apps out there come in 64 bit variants. Pretty much everything I use is 64 bit. Of course considering I'm in linux, most of my apps can either be compiled to 64bit or come that way from a repository. The problem isn't that it'd be faster in 64bit, it's that people running a 64bit OS would see improved compatibilities w/ a 64 bit flash.?
@QQQQUUUUProbably not, because I still live in Hong Kong. Nice try though. |

Most people these days don't realize that the Constitution enumerate the rights of government, not the rights of the people. The Bill of Rights was tacked on because it was thought that (individual) rights were too important to be left out. Ironically, their inclusion has probably done more to harm our rights than to protect them.

There is no bias on my part, I am simply telling you what I witnessed in my time as a Mormon. Of course not ALL Mormon women turn out to be helpless housewives, but the Mormon church heavily encourages this behavior of "in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant" to coin a term. You cannot see the Mormon church for what it truly is, because you are still inside of it. I do not think the Mormon church is evil in any way, because I quite enjoyed all of the friendly people I met there. But you asked about the connection to Twilight, and the allegory of it's story arc to Mormonism.Basically, throughout the whole story, Bella is a helpless woman who needs a man to rescue her all the time. When she tried to be independent, she realizes she can't, and needs a man to live. She even almost kills herself over it by jumping off a cliff. Also, the whole thing about Edward desperately wanting Bellas blood is an allusion to premarital sex, and his restraint to be pure and clean. There are several underlying Mormon traits to the Twilight Saga. I am not saying they are good or bad, I am simply stating they are there. |
