Jeesh, even with the advantage of instant replay people see things so differently. The lead-in, found above, to this video is this muck up:"After a 4-3 OT win Scott Niedermayer gives his stick to a little girl in the seats when some jerk steals the stick from the girl."The guy in the blue shirt did not *steal it from the girl*.The little girl had not even touched it when the guy in blue instinctivelyreached out for something being thrown into the stands and held it.About eight people reached for the stick.Players and PR people are frequently throwing things into the stands andEVERYONE knows the rules - fair game to ANYONE that gets control of it first.Once someone has clear possession of it, hands off.Even the guy interviewing Niedermayer said "whoever gets the stick firstjust hang on to it, everyone else calm down". It wasn't FOR the little girl unless you are a mind reader.Niedermayer wasn't throwing it to the little girl he was throwing to herdad. How was the guy in blue, or any of the other eight arms reachingfor the stick, suppossed to know Niedermayer's intentions? Niedermayercould have paused at the glass, pointed to the girl, motioned "this isfor you". Instead he just heaves into the crowd and it is fair game. The bad guy is the one behind the guy in the blue shirt who HIT FIRST.You have the luxury of the video. Replay it and you see the guy in theblue shirt being intentionally wacked in the head with the stick.People are such sheets..
Deep fried anything is good.!

Sponsored by HTC?
India (or any other country for that matter) needs to have strong ties with USA. You can't deny that. |

Ahmom, you're incorrect there. Plenty of Christians believe in the virgin Mary, the catholic church teaches she was a virgin.

Well let's see, in the production of the LHC they developed a new material to get the power to their magnets that would make it possible to make super efficient power transmissions. Not to mention the "grid" they are using to transmit data to all the participating universities around the world is essentially the internet 2.0. So investing in new particle accelerators brings about immediate technological advances as well as basic research. To be fair though, eventually we'll have to find better ways of getting to the high energy. If current predictions are right we won't find anything hugely earth shattering until 3 orders of magnitude less than the Planck energy (which is about 16 orders of magnitude greater than the LHC's energy), the predicted electroweak-strong symmetry breaking energy. Making a synchotron to get that energy would be pretty much impossible. Also the LHC took decades to plan and build, so a delay of 10 years can have a pretty chilling effect on particle physics.

No, no, I watch it to enjoy the pit-stop strategy. Though this one's been a bit long.

I have a feeling this place will be out of business within 6 months. You can't have patrons arrested over a stupid tip dispute and expect to have people still want to eat there... |
