I wonder if ICANN can strip the "humor" from their domain name. I believe it's gotten to that point.
Sorry to inform you but this not the beginning of thin client computing. It's been promoted and readily available for years from any number of different companies ... including IBM.http://www.devonit.com/hardware/tc2-thin-client/te ...Note that this thin client device carries an IBM part number.

Depression can be a form of mental illness, and it can be completely debilitating. I have a relative who is bipolar (manic depression), and there's no way he could hold a job. He's receives disability. Just this past weekend he was having a manic episode , and he withdrew the entire sum of his bank account (not much), plus ran up thousands on his credit cards at a local gas station paying for people's gas. It's not the first time he's given away everything to be charitable. A few months ago, he rode his motorcycle through the window of a local bar because he was upset that they made fun of him for ordering a glass of milk. Seriously. I have countless stories of his idiotic behavior over the years. He's in and out of jail/hospitals when he's not living in the trailer that his disability and our family help him pay for. So yeah, depression can be a lot more than just feeling crappy.?

The majority of the boycotters, me included, partook in it mainly because we had bigger expectations for the original game.I have always pre-ordered and never had any doubts when it came to their games. After all, Valve always had a great track record when it came to supporting their games and community. I would have gladly paid for an expansion pack if it were incorporated into the current game, regardless its price. They could have avoided all of this ***** by doing that. They did it in the past with the original Half-Life game and that worked pretty well for them then. Instead they chose to separate the games and in return split the community in half.I blame greed and the ***** download/DLC limitations of the 360.

This isn't so much about the levees, it's about the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississippi_River_Gul ... Basically its a short cut that the corps built for large ships to bypass the mouth of the Mississippi River. Problem is, it's been a flop for YEARS, they were only averaging 1-2 ships a day. I'm fairly certain it never even came close to any estimates they had in place before building it. Even before Katrina hit people were calling for it to be closed because of the environmental problems it's caused. It had been causing massive erosion to the marsh in the area, in the wiki link it even mentions the canal was 3 times its original size within 25 years, that was in '89, it continued to widen after that. Because of all that it acted like a funnel which accelerated the storm surge into the levees. The court is saying the maintenance(or lack there of) was a direct cause in the destruction of St. Bernard Parish and the 9th ward. It has nothing to do with how well they built or maintained the levees surrounding the city. Simply put, they built the Mr. GO, it didn't work out, they didn't maintain it, didn't shut it down a long time ago, and it amplified Katrina's effects.
