I think a better strategy would be to name it like "Rocky Mountain Oysters", using the formula "[Location] [Food that it is not]"So, assuming that this tastes kind of like a mollusk, you might call it "African Conch", or an "Uyo Scallop", and people would om nom it all day long.?
I completely agree. Where's the market for this? How much cheaper can computers get? We basically have the non-techies and the techies:Non-techies: I suppose this is aimed at them, but at least not for a very long time will they want it because when they ask "will it work with my camera?" or "can I use my printer with it?" or "will [application x] work with it?" the answer may very well be "no." Those users only want/need one machine, and because of the limitations, they won't buy one with Chrome OS on it. Instead, they can buy one of the many netbooks/nettops/or even full on PCs that can be had for easily for $200 or less, with a full fledged operating system, and they can still get the exact same benefits by simply using a standard web browser (even chrome itself).Techies: they won't want it because of it's obvious limitations. So really, who is this for? I'm not counting it out yet, Google is much smarter than I am and has been thinking about it a lot more than I have, but I just don't see it. The chrome browser made some sense, but a whole OS that IS the browser? I don't really know how they expect to break into an already competitive market by adding limitations without providing anything that's better/cheaper than what's already available. |

The US Army Corps of Engineers asked the Bush Administration for money to shore up the levees. The Bush Administration said — Guess what? "No." It's not like a 100-mile levee network is a weekend project you can finance by digging through your couch and turning out your pockets.

This article is about long term non-progressors. Also, I thought that the CCR5 antagonist techniques didn't cause a shift to the CXCR4 receptors, instead having the virus bind to the few unblocked receptors? Admittedly, my knowledge of more advanced biology isn't great, but the mathematics behind the spread of infections are conceptually simple. |
