“This is also what happens when unions expect the government "bailout" to rescue them.

strange title, our brains already control our computers, but I understand what they really mean..
ROTFLOL. So they get lots of cheap oil from Venezuela, then refine it into gasoline and jet fuel and sell those for profit. The result: Nobody else has any oil left.Gotta love how the communists are all about keeping things economically equal, eh?!

Evolutionary theory is one of the most unassailable theories to arise in the past 150 years. It may be seen in action in the lab with microscopic organisms and it may be simulated in an artificial environment with ease. Anyone with a brain and no assumptions about the change in populations over time quickly realizes that the question is not, "does evolution occur?" but rather, "how could evolution possibly not occur?"Most importantly, in my opinion evolution is the most elegant theory ever described in the history of mankind. Of all the possible irrational objections to science, the objection to evolution by you and your ilk is the ugliest. What the ***** man?

One of my favorite things about the game world in general is going back to my collection and playing older titles that I loved but no one else seems to remember. American McGee's Alice, for example -- people still remember it because of the title, but few remember that it also had some of the best level design in PC Gaming history, for its time, and that it remains a fun and creative title today.I'm always bummed when I reach a point where game X won't run on modern OS's anymore and I have to jump through hoops if I want to play it.

Man, I had to read that one a few times. It means that Tarou bought a book in addition to some other activity, which might have been buying something else, or might have been some other action other than buying. Because of the implication of "additionality" (just made up that word), the most likely context is that he'd bought something else. But there could be other actions, though to bother using "mo" there'd need to be some kind of implication of "additionality". Like say if it was a library where you could either borrow or buy books, you might be able to say "The children all borrowed comics. Tarou also bought a book".I think you're right about the usage not being identical across the two languages, but in this case I think what matters is getting to the same functionality by some means or other. I've had a couple too many beers to be confident about that, though.
