Jenny McCarthy and anti-vaxxers also claims that they have reams of evidence and they are just asking tough questions and science can't answer everything. This is a non-story. If actually prove AGW does not exist with scientific evidence and rigorous research, you'd actually be a hero in academia - this is a fact that non-scientist conservatives cannot seem to grasp.
Really? That's all you got?

“Actually, he is getting dugg down for spamming his site, not for his comment. He's made 4 comments on Digg, and every one has the exact same ad at the bottom for his site:"Hoping to gather some Chrome OS enthusiasts over at: http://www.xxxxxxx"Oh, except for his other posts, where he spams his Google Android site.

excellent player,awful name..
Verizon 3G > AT&T 3GSeriously though, last industry projections I saw had Android overtaking the iPhone in early 2011 in market penetration. I personally use the iPhone, but I will make the switch as soon as this contract runs out. Plus the 100,000 apps number is very inflated because it counts every free + full version app, as well as all of those +XX power/exp/whatever that those silly Vampire/Mafia/Whatever Wars games use. If you put an honest number on the actual number of unique apps for each OS, I bet the gap would be much close, with iPhone having an edge due to the head start.!

What's even bigger is that the CRU director has already acknowledged that the emails are genuine:http://digg.com/world_news/CRU_director_admits_hac ...?
This isn't so much about the levees, it's about the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississippi_River_Gul ... Basically its a short cut that the corps built for large ships to bypass the mouth of the Mississippi River. Problem is, it's been a flop for YEARS, they were only averaging 1-2 ships a day. I'm fairly certain it never even came close to any estimates they had in place before building it. Even before Katrina hit people were calling for it to be closed because of the environmental problems it's caused. It had been causing massive erosion to the marsh in the area, in the wiki link it even mentions the canal was 3 times its original size within 25 years, that was in '89, it continued to widen after that. Because of all that it acted like a funnel which accelerated the storm surge into the levees. The court is saying the maintenance(or lack there of) was a direct cause in the destruction of St. Bernard Parish and the 9th ward. It has nothing to do with how well they built or maintained the levees surrounding the city. Simply put, they built the Mr. GO, it didn't work out, they didn't maintain it, didn't shut it down a long time ago, and it amplified Katrina's effects. |

Look at the voting details. There seems to be a 1 vs 10 war or something:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1259571/ratingsGood job on making IMDB scores worthless, angre teenagers. :-| (Not that the scores were very reliable to begin with, but usually they give a decent indication.)

Lexus really blew it on this one. The LF-A concept they had about 2 years ago was absolutely gorgeous. It was a sleek, elegant, and very sophisticated looking supercar. I saw it at the 2007 NY Auto Show and it was the show stealer without a doubt. What happened between then and now is beyond me. All I know is that it went from being a serious looking supercar to a glorified rice burner. It looks like the wet dream of every teenager who worships Fast and the Furious. How something so beautiful became something so ridiculously ugly is anyone's guess. But wow... Lexus ***** up on this one. Here is the 2007 concept: http://img2.netcarshow.com/Lexus-LF-A_Concept_2007 ...http://img2.netcarshow.com/Lexus-LF-A_Concept_2007 ... |
